If you are on Facebook, you probably know more than you ever wanted or needed to know, but here’s an update for those non FB folks.

I’ve been married and widowed twice.  Had no children of my own, but between the two marriages, I’ve had a total of 8 stepchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.

I spent a lot of years in corporate and could never quite figure out what I didn’t love about going to work every day.  During an “in between jobs” period, I began taking care of one of my grandsons, and that did it.  What I knew I was missing was a playmate. I’ve never totally grown up, (thank you God) and being with, nurturing and teaching children is what I love.  I guess there was a plan out there when I didn’t have my own kids; it gave me the room in my heart to take care of so many more.

I’m retired now and still living in Framingham, but whenever possible I still find the opportunity to be with a little one to love and guide.
