Welcome classmate! This blog is an ongoing information center for reunions of the class of 1963, the last graduating class of Framingham High School, Framingham, Massachusetts. At present your committee members are busy planning our 50th class reunion. Click on the 50th Reunion page to see details and feel free to comment on the bottom of that or any other page or post. We will post any new information that we have.We have two pages for biographical information on our classmates, as well as an In Memoriam page, and we are looking to add other topics as we progress with our reunion plans and preparation. The bio pages are password protected for members of our class only. The rest of the blog is open to the public so that hopefully ‘missing’ classmates can find us and learn of the reunion. We have been search for our classmates since January of 2012 and will continue to do so in order to obtain mailing addresses as well as email addresses. We sent out post cards with ‘Save the Date’ info in February of 2013 and we have already received many responses on our Facebook Framingham Class of ’63 Event page. Many of us have already had mini-reunions as we reconnect with fellow classmates near and far through our search processes, (email is great!) and as we hear from post card recipients and are updated on their lives and whereabouts we will keep you informed.
We are asking those of you who want your bio and/or photo(s) to be included in this blog, that you submit it in one of two ways, knowing that it won’t be open to the public, but only to fellow classmates.
1. You can email it to FHS1963Reunion@hotmail.com OR
2. You can post a ‘Comment’ on this page. In either case it will be moderated and then added to the appropriate Bio page, either A-L or M-Z (alphabetized by maiden name).
In the bio-sketch, please include any info you’d like to share, such as places you’ve lived, education, vocation, kids, grandchilren, photos of yourself, family members, interesting facts, etc. You could include photos and website addresses. You could keep it simple, or go into detail. We will reserve the right to edit as we see fit. We look forward to reading about your lives and what you have been doing since those days remembered at Framingham High! Nevertheless, this is completely optional. Also, you may send remembrances to be posted under the names of deceased classmates. One thing we do ask is that you let us know of any people whose addresses we do not have. Their names are on the post “Where Are They?” The list changes almost daily as we get new or corrected information. And, if you know of any who have passed away, please let us know that. Also, please email the above address if your street address changes. Invitations to the 2013 reunion will be sent out in late May of 2013. Hopefully we’ll have a great turnout!
